In the role of Strategic Communications Intern, we'll count on you to:
  • Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Department Manager, Section Manager or other professionals
  • Support communications and graphic design professionals in the execution of creative services, strategic communications, and branding programs for transportation and water clients.
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate communications, graphic design, journalism, advertising, creative writing, marketing, or similar/equivalent program
  • 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Google Workspace skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Illustrator specifically)
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new skills quickly
  • An interest in applying communications and/or design academic experience to a professional consulting environment


  • Strong preference given to local candidates

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
