Strategic Planning Director (contract)

Responsible for managing the enterprise wide planning process for a VP and above.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Directs monthly/quarterly reporting process and annual operating plan development.
• Ensures rationale is in sync with corporate strategic direction.
• Develops annual business plan and quarterly forecast material and tools.
• Coaches business planning participants on requirements, analysis, and deadlines.
• Manages strategic projects, reports and analysis. Leads the development and direction of selected issues and projects.
• Experience supporting an Executive leader as a Chief of Staff making business-critical decisions on their behalf, standing in at virtual meetings and on-site as needed
• Strong program and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Job Type: Contract

Additional Details:

• Work Hours Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) Central Standard Time
• Chicago residents must be willing to work hybrid schedule with 1-2 days per week
• Primarily work from home; will be expected to come onsite for onboarding, training, or as otherwise required by Managers

Preferred:

• Location: Chicago, IL (will consider candidates in Central, Mountain or Eastern time zones
• Experience in financial and/or operational divisions of a Health Plan Business
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, financial decisions, and staffing plans.
