Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• RFI/RFP Management: Develop and execute Requests for Information and Proposals to assess market dynamics and supplier capabilities.
• Contract Negotiation:
• Lead tactical negotiations for low-impact contracts.
• Assist in larger negotiations by supporting strategy, messaging, and documentation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal customers to understand business needs and define project scopes.
• Strategic Alignment: Communicate how procurement activities align with enterprise goals and sourcing strategies.
• Compliance & Miscellaneous Duties: Ensure adherence to company policies and perform other assigned tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience:

Background in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.

Familiarity with contract negotiation and supplier engagement.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical thinking and ability to interpret market data.

Project management and organizational skills.

Knowledge:

Understanding of strategic sourcing processes.

Familiarity with RFI/RFP procedures and procurement tools.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
