Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in day-to-day operations (managing the department distribution inbox)
  • Research online databases to strategically recruit trade specific contractors
  • Send, track, retrieve and review sensitive vendor on-boarding documentation including W-9 forms, Certificates of Insurance and Vendor Agreements
  • Maintain direct working relationships with our existing vendor base to support current and future business needs
  • Utilize Umbrava to manage vendor profiles and all data entry within the system
  • Negotiate vendor costs to meet the specific client’s expectation
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to support current and future business needs
  • Assist in establishing and upholding company policies and procedures
  • Other special recruiting projects as assigned
  • Aid in training vendors to utilize Umbrava and other related software/systems

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Experience working with & managing sub-contractors
  • Ability to work and communicate efficiently with all levels of colleagues, vendors, and other external contacts
  • Internet savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Organized & detail oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Policy and Procedure driven
