Strategy Analyst

Specter Aviation is an emerging Non-Scheduled Operator (NSOP) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, India, focused on redefining private air mobility through data-driven operations and innovative financing.
Our fleet plan includes purchase and acquisition of helicopters, jets for corporate charter, emergency airlift (HEMS), and intercity connectivity — building one of India’s most modern and compliant aviation platforms.

We are seeking a Strategy Analyst who will lead the investment-side groundwork — building the roadmap for capital inflow, investor engagement, and strategic partnerships.

Role Overview

The Strategy Analyst – Investment & Capital Development will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and building relationships with investors and financial partners across the aviation and infrastructure sectors.
This role is highly analytical and relationship-driven — ideal for someone with an interest in venture finance, corporate development, or strategic consulting within the aviation industry.

You’ll work directly with the Founder to develop and execute the investment strategy that brings Specter Aviation from a regulatory-stage NSOP to a fully funded and operational operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Strategy & Targeting
• Design a comprehensive investment acquisition strategy aligned with Specter’s 3-year growth and funding goals.
• Identify and profile Investment Banks, Venture Capital Firms, Family Offices, Financial Institutions, and Angel Networks with exposure to aviation, mobility, infrastructure, or asset leasing.
• Evaluate potential strategic consultants or advisory firms for capital structuring, valuation, and due diligence support.
• Investor Mapping & Outreach
• Develop and maintain a living investor intelligence database (fund size, investment thesis, portfolio, contact points).
• Segment investors into strategic (aviation or infra-backed) and financial (venture or hybrid) profiles.
• Analyze investor alignment with Specter’s current stage (Seed / Early Series) and funding quantum.
• Fundraising & Capital Structuring
• Assist in preparing investment memorandums, pitch books, and executive summaries.
• Support valuation and capital structure discussions — debt vs equity, SAFE, convertible notes, or lease-financing options.
• Benchmark international NSOP funding and structure case studies to replicate best practices in India.
• Strategic Partnerships
• Identify and propose potential joint ventures, OEM alliances, or government-backed funding opportunities.
• Coordinate with legal and financial consultants for documentation, compliance, and investment readiness.
• Track industry events, aviation summits, and investment forums for visibility and networking opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of finance, investment strategy, and business valuation.
• Ability to connect data-driven research with real-world funding opportunities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial analysis, and market research tools.
• Passion for aviation, infrastructure finance, or venture capital.
• Background in Finance, Business, Economics, or Engineering with finance specialization preferred.
• Prior experience in investment research, consulting, or startup fundraising is an advantage.
