The role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and hands-on analytical capability. The successful candidate will be expected to move seamlessly between developing board-level materials, conducting detailed data analysis, and leading cross-functional initiatives across the Egypt business.

In this role, you will:

Strategic Execution & CEO Support:

  • Act as a trusted partner to the CEO, turning strategic priorities into clear execution plans with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead high-impact strategic initiatives (e.g., pricing strategy, commercial model evolution, product launches, partnerships in Egypt).
  • Translate long-term vision into practical roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Track key company priorities, monitor performance, flag risks, and remove execution bottlenecks.
  • Prepare board decks, investor updates, and executive reports with clear, data-driven insights.
  • Attend leadership meetings, capture key decisions, and ensure follow-through across teams.

Operating Cadence & Project Management

  • Own and improve the company's operating rhythm (OKRs, quarterly reviews, leadership meetings, cross-functional forums).
  • Oversee company-wide reporting and performance reviews to maintain strategic focus.
  • Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility on commercial, product, and operational metrics.
  • Proactively identify risks or underperformance and recommend corrective actions

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence:

  • Extract and analyse data using SQL to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Build financial and operational models (P&L scenarios, unit economics, pricing, cohort analysis).
  • Analyse commercial performance, customer behaviour, funnels, and market trends in Egypt.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Cross Functional Leadership:

  • Act as the link between the CEO's office and Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and commercial impact.
  • Support competitive analysis, market sizing, and scenario planning as needed.
  • Strengthen alignment, communication, and transparency across teams

Requirements

  • 6-9 years' experience in management consulting, strategy & operations, finance, or within a high-growth tech/marketplace business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field. Business/Economics backgrounds welcome if supported by strong technical skills.
  • Experience working in or with the Egyptian or broader MENA market, with a solid understanding of local commercial dynamics.
  • Proven ability to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries (joins, CTEs, window functions).
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Experience with at least one BI or data visualisation tool (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis or automation.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4).
  • Exposure to CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP).
  • Understanding of marketplace metrics (e.g., LTV/CAC, take rates, liquidity, listing economics).
  • Strong commercial judgement with a clear understanding of P&L drivers and operational levers
