Strategy & Program Management Associate

About The Role:

We are hiring a high-performing Strategy & Program Management Associate to work closely with the senior leadership of an international group operating across the energy, infrastructure, security systems, and technology sectors.

The selected candidate will be employed by The Inventor Solutions (TIS) and deployed as a dedicated full-time strategic resource for a global client. This is a long-term, high-ownership role designed for individuals who can operate at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and execution.

If you are analytical, structured, commercially aware, and comfortable working directly with executive stakeholders, this role is built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Business Analysis
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis (East Africa & Middle East focus).
  • Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and pricing frameworks.
  • Support go-to-market planning and expansion initiatives.
  • Translate technical insights into business recommendations.

Program & Project Management

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and KPI dashboards.
  • Track cross-functional initiatives and ensure milestone delivery.
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate between engineering, finance, and operations teams.

Financial & Executive Support

  • Develop financial models (ROI, CAPEX/OPEX analysis).
  • Prepare board-ready presentations and executive reports.
  • Support partnership evaluations and new venture analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial preferred).
  • Master’s degree in MBA or Project Management (completed).

Experience

  • 4–10 years of relevant experience in:
  • Strategy / Consulting
  • PMO / Program Management
  • Corporate Planning
  • Business Operations

Skills

  • Advanced Excel & financial modeling capability.
  • Strong PowerPoint/presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
