Structural CAD Operator

• Job Description:

We are looking for a Structural CAD Operator to join our team and support the preparation of detailed drawings for building structures. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills in reinforced concrete and steel structures, with experience in infrastructure projects (such as bridges, flyovers, or retaining walls) considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed CAD drawings for building structures including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural components.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and technical requirements.
• Develop 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD or other relevant CAD software.
• Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards, codes, and company quality procedures.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback, design changes, or site modifications.
• Maintain an organized drawing register and documentation for all project deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Proven experience as a Structural CAD Operator in building design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit Structures or Civil 3D is an asset).
• Strong understanding of structural detailing for RCC and steel structures.
• Experience in infrastructure projects (bridges, culverts, retaining walls, etc.) will be considered an added advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
