Job Summary

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of UAE-based engineering consultancy experience. The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and coordination of residential and commercial building projects in compliance with UAE authorities’ regulations and international design codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural design calculations for RCC and steel structures (low-rise and mid-rise buildings).
• Develop and review structural drawings, layouts, and detailing for submission and construction.
• Perform structural analysis and design using approved software.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.).
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and BIM teams to resolve design clashes.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Attend design coordination meetings and provide technical support during authority approvals.
• Assist in value engineering and design optimization where required.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ACI, BS, Eurocode).
• Support site teams with design clarifications and technical queries.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering consultancy in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structure design.
• Hands-on experience with ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or similar software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Familiar with UAE authority submission and approval procedures.
• Good understanding of construction practices and site coordination.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience with G+1 to G+10 building projects
• Knowledge of BIM coordination
• DM approval experience
• UAE driving license

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
