Structural Designer

We are hiring Structural Designer with experience in steel structure detailing and modeling. The candidate will be responsible for preparing structural drawings, 3D models, and fabrication details for hot rolled and/or PEB steel projects, ensuring accuracy, constructability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural GA drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details for steel structures.
• Develop accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures and prepare detailed drawings from the model.
• Draft 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist engineers in detailing structural members and basic connection detailing (bolted/welded).
• Interpret structural design calculations and translate them into clear, precise drawings.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and review comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant international codes and project specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs and quantity estimates from drawings/models.
• Provide clarification and support to fabrication and site teams when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in structural steel detailing and drafting.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures (preferred) and AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of structural design principles and international codes (AISC / BS / IS).
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
