Position: Structural Draftsman
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Consultancy / Engineering / High-Rise Buildings
Experience: 8+ years
Availability: Preferred Ready to Join / Immediate Joiners Preferred

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit Structure, Navisworks, or other BIM tools is a plus).
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant structural drafting/design tools.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural drafting, preferably in high-rise building projects within the GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of structural detailing including concrete and steel structures.
• Familiar with international and local authority standards such as ACI, BS, ASTM, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.
• Previous experience working in an engineering consultancy is required.
• Familiarity with Dubai authority submissions and approval processes is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed structural drawings (plans, sections, details) for high-rise buildings in accordance with project and authority requirements.
• Drafting of concrete and steel structures including footings, slabs, beams, columns, cores, etc.
• Ensure drawings are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate closely with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines for seamless project delivery.
• Modify and revise drawings based on redlines and engineering markups.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing records, and backups for future reference.
