Structural Draftsman - Mechanical Projects

The Structural Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings for industrial construction projects. The role includes creating fabrication drawings, foundation layouts, steel structure details, and as-built drawings in coordination with engineers, project managers, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams for drawing updates and revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
• Review and revise drawings based on site conditions and engineering comments.
• Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination with piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil departments.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in structural drafting for industrial or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, pipeline, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with fabrication and erection processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
