Structural Draughtsman

We are hiring Structural Draughtsman to join our team.

Job Description:

• Prepare detailed architectural shop drawings from consultant IFC drawings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and update coordination drawings integrating architectural layouts with structural, MEP, and specialist subcontractor works.
• Produce detailed sections, elevations, and enlarged details for complex areas such as staircases, wet areas, façade interfaces, and joinery works.
• Interpret design intent and convert conceptual layouts into precise construction drawings suitable for execution on site.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and alignment of all architectural drawings with actual site measurements and as-built conditions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and adjust drawings accordingly.
• Prepare shop drawings for authority submissions in compliance with local codes, building regulations, and approval processes.
• Maintain a register of all issued drawings, revisions, and approvals to ensure version control and document traceability.
• Provide technical support to site teams by explaining drawing details, material interfaces, and finishing requirements.
• Attend site inspections to verify compliance of executed works with approved architectural drawings.
• Work closely with the QA/QC team to address non-conformities related to architectural works and ensure corrective actions are documented in revised drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings reflecting final executed conditions for project handover.
• Review subcontractor shop drawings for compliance with design intent, dimensions, and integration with other trades.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure drawings specify correct materials, finishes, and installation requirements.
• Maintain drawing standards, line weights, symbols, and templates as per company CAD standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Higher secondary school certificate with diploma in Structural Drafting.
• 5 or more years of experience, with home country .
