Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural design and analysis for pipeline supports, thrust blocks, chambers, culverts, intake wells, pump houses, sumps, and other water-related structures.
• Prepare and review design calculations, structural drawings, and construction methodology as per project requirements.
• Conduct structural stability and load analysis (dead, live, hydrostatic, seismic, and wind loads).
• Ensure that all designs comply with IS, IRC, ACI, BS, and relevant pipeline/water structure codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and hydraulic design teams for interface management.
• Provide technical support at site during construction, resolving design and structural issues.
• Review shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and vendor submittals.
• Conduct inspection and verification of reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete works at site.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for design approvals and clarifications.
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain detailed documentation for QA/QC purposes.
• Support in estimation and quantity take-off for structural items.
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during execution.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of structural design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Sound understanding of pipeline structures, hydraulic loads, and water-retaining structure design.
• Familiar with construction materials, reinforcement detailing, and foundation design.
• Excellent coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and execute complex structural drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and documentation tools.

Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
