Job Description: Structural Engineer (2–4 Years Experience)

Position Overview

American Based Company seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 2–4 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural analysis and design, with demonstrated knowledge of the latest AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes. This role involves working on diverse projects including wind load design, tower structures, and other complex systems. Familiarity with American codes and the Aluminum Design Manual is considered a valuable plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and aluminum structures in compliance with AISC, ACI, ASCE, and other relevant codes.
  • Develop calculations, design packages, and technical reports for review and approval.
  • Apply wind load design principles to tower structures and other vertical systems.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and construction documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay current with evolving codes, standards, and industry practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 2–4 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in RISA, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD for analysis, modeling, and drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of AISC Steel Manual, ACI Concrete Code, ASCE 7, and familiarity with Aluminum Design Manual.
  • Experience with wind load design and tower structures.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and advanced modeling techniques.
  • Experience with foundation design, anchorage systems, and dynamic load considerations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
