Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

About the Role:
We at CHSS are currently seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with significant experience in a consulting firm, specializing in the design of roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and project management. A valid Unlimited G floor certificate is a must for this role. Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred, and we are looking for an immediate joiner. Candidates with a 1-month notice period are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural design projects, including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
• Develop and review designs to ensure compliance with safety, technical, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and civil engineers.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring on-time project completion.
• Conduct site assessments and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on consulting firms.
• Strong expertise in designing roads, bridges, and infrastructure.
• Unlimited G floor certificate is mandatory.
• Arabic speaker is preferred.
• Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, etc.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
