Structural Engineer

Job Purpose:

To design, review, and supervise structural works for the logistics city project, ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of concrete and steel structures in compliance with approved codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review structural designs for warehouses, and associated facilities like labor accommodation.
• Design and review steel structures and coordinate with steel structure suppliers and fabricators.
• Review, coordinate, and approve structural shop drawings, including steel shop drawings.
• Perform and verify structural calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards (SBC, ACI, AISC, Eurocode as applicable).
• Develop structural models and analysis using approved engineering software.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration.
• Review geotechnical reports and propose appropriate foundation systems.
• Provide site supervision support and ensure construction works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist the project management team in resolving technical and construction-related issues.
• Prepare technical reports, design notes, and engineering recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics cities, industrial, warehouse projects.
• Strong experience in both steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Software & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software:

ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000

• Experience with STAAD or Robot is preferred.
• Strong experience in Tekla Structures (highly preferred).
• Solid knowledge of preparing and reviewing steel shop drawings.
• Good understanding of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international standards.

• Nationality: Any Arab nationality
• Arab candidate outside KSA can be an option with previous experience in KSA.
