Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our Events & Production team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in structural design, technical drafting, and temporary event structures, with the ability to transform creative concepts into safe, practical, and production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for event structures, exhibition stands, stages, temporary venues, and production installations.
• Develop structural calculations and engineering solutions for temporary structures.
• Review design concepts and ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams, fabricators, and clients.
• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during installation and dismantling.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant UAE regulations and international engineering standards.
• Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and installation efficiency.
• Assist in obtaining engineering approvals and certifications where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in structural design and drafting.
• Experience in the Events, Exhibition, Production, Entertainment, or Temporary Structures industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.
• Experience with SketchUp, SolidWorks, Revit, or other 3D modeling software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of steel, aluminum, truss systems, stages, platforms, and temporary event structures.
• Strong understanding of engineering standards, load calculations, and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• UAE experience and UAE driving license will be an advantage.
