Structural Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to support our projects on a part-time / per-project basis.

The ideal candidate must have experience in structural design and calculation for aluminum, steel, glass, pergolas, canopies, outdoor shade structures, and related architectural metal works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review structural calculations for aluminum, steel, glass, pergola, canopy, and outdoor shade structure projects.
• Provide structural design recommendations based on project requirements, site conditions, and approved drawings.
• Review architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings to ensure structural safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with the design, drafting, fabrication, and project teams regarding structural requirements.
• Check connection details, fixing methods, material specifications, and load considerations.
• Prepare Structural Calculation Reports when required for client, consultant, or authority submission.
• Provide technical support for design revisions, site conditions, and fabrication-related concerns.
• Ensure all structural recommendations comply with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in the aluminum, steel, glass, pergola, canopy, or façade industry.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, load calculations, steel and aluminum design, connection details, and fixing systems.
• Proficiency in structural and design software such as AutoCAD and STAAD.Pro.
• Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
• Experience in preparing Structural Calculation Reports is required.
• Knowledge of relevant design codes and engineering standards.
• Familiarity with fabrication and installation processes is an advantage.
• Must have a personal computer with the required software installed and a reliable internet (Wi-Fi) connection.
• Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work on a project-based timeline.

Preferred Experience:

• UAE or GCC project experience is an advantage.
• Experience with pergolas, outdoor shade structures, canopies, glass works, steel structures, and aluminum works is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, or authority submissions is an advantage.
