Role Purpose

The Structural Engineer III is responsible for leading and managing complex structural engineering projects. This role involves advanced design, analysis, and oversight of project execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Key Activities:


  • Review all Documents connected to the Project.
  • Prepare Calculations (Pressure, loads & Stresses), Reports, Designs & Drawings.
  • Use Computer aided design Technology for Simulation purposes.
  • Supervise all Draftsmen & junior Engineers under his team.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Provides technical support to their subordinates, ensures that all design and shop drawings are coordinated with all other disciplines.
  • Discuss Thoroughly all progress of the Project with the Senior Engineer.
  • Keep in Sight all the assigned tasks & make sure everything is on track.
  • Ensure all quality of all technical Submittals is based on Albawani Standards & Guidelines.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings & specifications.
  • Attend meetings with Senior Engineers when required
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of structural design principles and analysis techniques.

Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Enrolment in Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) (Essential).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Job Specific and Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, Idea StatiCa, HILTI).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Having Good Knowledge of Technical Coordination between all the project parties.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
