Our client is one of the region’s prominent engineering, procurement and construction contracting companies. It is classified by the government as a category 1 contractor, the highest rating, and is certified for ISO 9001:2015. They undertake major Civil, Infrastructure and Power Projects which include Design, Engineering, Procurement, Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Power Stations, Pumping Stations, Oil and Gas Pipelines, Refineries, Desalination Plants, Major Housing Projects, Commercial Buildings, as turnkey EPC Contractor, Prime Contractor and Major Sub-Contractor.

1. Junior Structural Engineer
Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the power or water sector.
• Experience in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD, AutoCAD or similar CAD tools.
• Knowledge of Concrete design (ACI), Steel design (AISC).
• Strong understanding of shop drawing review processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• GCC experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the structural design of power and water infrastructure projects.

· Perform modeling and analysis using ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and STAAD.

· Carry out concrete and steel design calculations based on ACI and AISC standards.

· Prepare and support in reviewing structural design drawings and shop drawings.

· Coordinate with drafting team using CAD tools.

· Support senior engineers in technical documentation and project execution.

· Participate in site inspections and provide support during construction phase.

2. Senior Structural Engineer
Requirement:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering, including substantial work in power and water sector.
• ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD
• AutoCAD and shop drawing review
• ACI (Concrete design)
• AISC (Steel design)
• Strong leadership and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• GCC project experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead structural design for complex power and water projects across the region.

· Oversee modeling and structural analysis using ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and STAAD.

· Validate designs in accordance with ACI and AISC standards.

· Review and approve shop drawings and ensure design compliance.

· Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure project milestones are met.

· Participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and contractors.

· Conduct site visits and resolve structural issues during execution phase.
