Structural Engineer – Oil & Gas (QatarEnergy Project Experience Required)

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in oil & gas engineering and mandatory QatarEnergy (QE) project experience. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in the design and supervision of pipe racks and steel structures, along with a solid understanding of QE standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for pipe racks, steel structures, supports, and equipment platforms.
• Review and validate design drawings and engineering deliverables in alignment with QatarEnergy specifications.
• Provide site supervision, inspections, and technical support during construction activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and project compliance.
• Ensure adherence to international design codes (AISC, ASCE, API, Eurocodes) and QE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Mandatory QE project experience (no exceptions).
• Minimum 7+ years in structural engineering within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong background in pipe rack and steel structure design & supervision.
• Proficiency in relevant structural analysis tools (STAAD, SAP2000, SACS, etc.).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates already based in Qatar are highly preferred.
