Join IMEG as a Structural Engineering Intern in Portland, OR and lay the foundation for your engineering career with real-world project experience. Over 10–12 weeks, you’ll contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems for buildings and other structures. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, manage tasks within project budgets, and see how your contributions directly support client goals—while gaining the skills, knowledge, and professional network to launch your future in structural engineering.
Principal Responsibilities
Required Qualifications and Skills
Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
Proficient with MS Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
