Structural QC Engineer

• Check reinforcement (steel) placement, spacing, cover, and lapping as per approved drawings.
• Inspect formwork and shuttering quality before concrete pouring.
• Monitor concrete strength tests (slump test, cube casting, curing).
• Verify concrete pouring activities and ensure proper compaction and finishing.
• Inspect structural elements like columns, beams, slabs, footings, and retaining walls during execution.
• Review and approve materials delivered for structural works (steel, cement, aggregates).
• Identify structural defects such as honeycombing, cracks, or misalignment and ensure corrective measures.
• Maintain QC checklists, inspection reports, and pre/post-pour documentation.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (mandatory)

Experience:

1 year preferred
