STS Operator

Responsibilities and duties:

Vessel Discharge and Load Operation

• Control the safety and discipline in the work area

• Follow the signals of Hatch man, vessel Tally clerk and Lasher

• Ensure safe movement and placing of containers or other cargoes, and transfer of staff and lashing gears

General

• Check /inspect any defect / damages and report them immediately to avoid further damage to the equipment

• Ensure that the boom is clear of any obstructions such as the ship’s Mast, ship’s Radar and Antenna when travelling the Quay crane

• Secure the cabin position in the back-reach before travelling to any desired direction, to have a wide view and check for any obstructions at the crane railways

• Report any vessel damage noticed to hatch man

• Take special care in handling OOG cargoes and hatch covers

• Do not move the crane until the vessel is completely secured

• When operations are finished completely, boom – up, shut off and anchor the crane

• Undertake routine cleaning of cabin and windows from inside

• Inspect the crane and fill Gahez Application pre- starting the work

• Strictly follow the storm and bad weather procedure s

• Contribute to achieving the company targets by following QHSE rules and regulations for operating and maintenance procedures related to job activities.

• Report and respond immediately as appropriate to any hazardous condition/act.

Qualification and Certificates:

• Intermediate Educational Degree

• Skill Level Measurement Certificate

• Professional and Occupational License

• Equipment driving license

Experience and Knowledge:

• Work Experience in terminal operations minimum 4 years and preferable 6 years in the same roles
• Fully Conversant with Safety Procedures

Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication skills
• Basic English language skills
• Able to work with group
Able to adapt with the variable work conditions

المهام و الواجبات:

عملية تحميل و تفريغ السفن

اتباع الإشارات و الأوامر و التعليمات الواردة من: الطلاب، كاتب باخرة، مشرف الباخرة، عامل لاشن

ضمان سلامة حركة ووضع الشحنات و سلامة نقل العمال داخل قفص الأمان و سلامة معدات الربط أثناء تشغيل و إ عداد السفن.

العمل بشكل عام:

فحص أي خلل او ضرر او عطل والإبلاغ عنها فورا لتجنب المزيد من الأضرار للمعدات .

التأكد خلال حركة المعدة بخلو مسار ال STS من اي معوقات أو جهاز التقاط الإشارة الخاص بالباخرة (Antenna)

وضع كبينة المعدة في الوضع الآمن في المنطقة الخلفية ( Back reach ) و ذلك لإيضاح الرؤية بشكل أفضل أثناء حركة المعدة من مكان لآخر و خلوها من أي معوقات

إبلاغ الطلاب عن أي خلل او عطل لوحظ بالسفينة

توخ الحذر بشكل خاص في التعامل مع البضائع الثقيلة أو كبيرة الحجم و أيضا غطاء السفينة

عدم تحريك الرافعة حتى يتم تأمين السفينة و بعد انتهاء رباط السفينة تماما

التأكد من أن المعدة في وضع الوقوف الآمن بعد إنتهاء العمل بها و تثبيتها في المكان المخصص لها.

تنظيف كابينة و نوافذ المُعدة بإستمرار من الداخل

فحص المُعدة و استخدام برنامج جاهز قبل بداية العمل.

ا تباع إجراءات العاصفة و سوء الأحوال الجوية بدقة و حذر.

المساهمة في تحقيق أهداف الشركة من خلال اتباع قواعد ولوائح الجودة والصحة والسلامة المهنية والبيئة لإجراءات التشغيل والصيانة المتعلقة بمهام تلك الوظيفة.

الإبلاغ والاستجابة الفورية لأي حالة طوارئ أو فعل خطر إذا لزم الأمر.

المؤهلات والشهادات:

حاصل على مؤهل متوسط

حاصل على شهادة قياس مستوى المهارة

حاصل على رخصة مزاولة مهنة

حاصل على رخصة قيادة المعدات الثقيلة

الخبرة والمعرفة:

لديه خبرة عمل بالمواني من 4 الى 6 سنوات في نفس المهام

الإلمام بإجراءات السلامة

جيد في مهارات التواصل

لديه أساسيات اللغة الإنجليزية.

لديه القدرة على العمل مع فريق

قادر على التكيف بشكل سريع
