Role Overview:

As a Student Consultant at Catalyst Study Abroad, you’ll play a vital role in guiding students through their academic journey abroad. From understanding their goals to helping them secure admissions in top UK institutions, you’ll provide personalized advice, handle documentation, and ensure each student receives the highest level of support and care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students’ goals, preferences, and academic backgrounds.
  • Recommend suitable universities, programs, and career paths in the UK (and other destinations, if applicable).
  • Advise on admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and scholarship options.

2. Application & Admission Support

  • Guide students in preparing and submitting university applications.
  • Review personal statements, SOPs, and supporting documents for accuracy and quality.
  • Coordinate with universities and ensure smooth application processing.

3. Visa & Pre-Departure Assistance

  • Provide detailed guidance on UK visa requirements and assist with documentation.
  • Prepare students for visa interviews and pre-departure orientations.
  • Support with travel, accommodation, and initial settlement guidance.

4. Relationship & Communication Management

  • Maintain professional communication with students, parents, and partner universities.
  • Build strong relationships with educational institutions and represent Catalyst in fairs and promotional events.
  • Provide regular updates on applications, offers, and visa statuses.

5. Administrative & Reporting Tasks

  • Maintain accurate student files and update the CRM system regularly.
  • Prepare progress and conversion reports for management.
  • Support marketing and outreach campaigns, including seminars and social media activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Education, Business, or related field preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in student counseling, educational consultancy, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK education system, courses, and visa procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, target-oriented, and detail-focused.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
