Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of career development and academic advising.
- Empathetic, patient, and student-focused personality.
- Experience in counseling or student advisory roles (preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counseling to students on academic, career, and personal matters.
- Assist students in selecting courses, educational paths, and career options.
- Conduct workshops on study skills, career planning, and personal development.
- Identify students facing academic or personal challenges and provide appropriate support.
- Maintain confidential records of counseling sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to support student success.
- Guide students on available scholarships, universities, and admission requirements (if applicable).
- Monitor student progress and provide follow-up sessions.
- Handle student concerns professionally and provide solutions.
- Promote a positive and motivating environment for student growth.
