Job Tittle: Executive / Sr. Executive Student Counsellor & Institutional Marketing

Location: Seerapalayam, Coimbatore 641105

Reports To: Head of Training - RPTO

Job Summary:

The Student Counsellor & Institutional Marketing Executive will play a dual role: firstly supporting prospective and current students through counselling, guidance and admissions processes; secondly driving institutional marketing efforts to promote programmes, increase enrolments and strengthen partnerships. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, marketing acumen, and a genuine passion for student success.

Key ResponsibilitiesCounselling & Student Support / Admissions

  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and parents: respond to enquiries, conduct information sessions, provide guidance on courses/programmes, eligibility criteria, application deadlines, scholarships. jobs.wub.edu.bd+1
  • Provide career and academic counselling: help students identify strengths, interests and career goals; advise on programme suitability and progression routes. Indeed+1
  • Guide students (and parents) through the admissions/application process, documentation, fee structure, deadlines, follow-ups. Adzuna+1
  • Maintain and update student (prospective and admitted) records, track progress, and ensure accurate data in CRM/admissions system. Velents+1
  • Conduct orientations, workshops, seminars or campus tours for new students and parents; collaborate with other teams to improve student onboarding experience.
  • Monitor conversion of enquiries to admissions and support retention efforts (where applicable).

Institutional Marketing & Outreach

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns (both online and offline) to promote programmes, brand awareness, admissions drives, open houses, events. Adzuna+1
  • Liaise with schools, colleges, educational partners, community groups for outreach, tie-ups and promotional engagements.
  • Manage social media, digital channels, website content (as needed) to reach target audience and generate leads.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor programmes, student preferences and feedback to help refine marketing strategy and programme offerings.
  • Ensure marketing materials (brochures, presentations, flyers) are up-to-date, aligned with brand and compliant with institutional guidelines.
