Description

This position is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a career in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media production or a related field. This position is an opportunity to build your professional portfolio while supporting a good cause through a nonprofit organization. Interest in photography and/or design is a plus. May be eligible for internship credit.


Examples of Duties

Duties Include:

  • Plan and create content for the UCM Alumni Foundation’s social media channels
  • Email and direct mail communications, webpages and the biannual print and digital UCM Magazine.
  • Promoting alumni events across the country and assisting with fundraising efforts that benefit UCM students.

Typical Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
  • Be skilled in conducting research, identifying and interviewing sources for articles, fact-checking and writing in-depth feature stories as well as crafting engaging news briefs and social posts

Supplemental Information

Working Hours

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Maximum of 18 hours per week
  • Flexible Hours, willing to work around class schedule

Special Instructions:
