We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Student Teacher to join our educational team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educators to gain hands-on experience and develop their teaching skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering instructional activities
• Support students' individual learning needs and provide additional help as needed
• Observe classroom management techniques and implement them under supervision
• Prepare teaching materials and resources to enhance lesson delivery
• Participate in classroom activities, discussions, and student assessments
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student progress

Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an education program or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Organized, responsible, and adaptable to different classroom settings
• Basic knowledge of educational technology and classroom management tools
• Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is a plus

Reports to Building Level Administrators

$5,000 Stipend

Requirements:

Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above

Grades in the core areas or area of certification/specialty at a 2.5 or above

Security clearance through MO Automated Criminal History System

Completed Application and Onboarding documents

Participation in a sponsored student teaching program at a college/university

A formal placement request from the sponsoring college/university
