Job Summary/Basic Function

Participate in, and help promote, develop, and coordinate programs and projects under the auspices of the Center for Public Scholarship & Social Change (CPSSC).
Assist in providing support to community partners.
Undertake research projects on issues identified by community partners.
Plan and publicize CPSSC and community education programs

Required Qualifications

Must be a student in good academic standing during time of employment.
Interest in and commitment to community-engaged research.
Strong teamwork skills
Proficiency in communication and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in data visualization
Proficiency in statistics and research methods (including qualitative methodology)

Job Duties

Assist in departmental research.
Support the Centers Community Outreach Program.
Assist in hosting events.
Support Faculty Members.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Must be able to to sit or stand for a length of time
Ability to lift 10 lbs
