A Bahrain-based handmade clothing and design company, are looking for a studio assistant that can liase between tailors, suppliers and the creative director. The applicant should be detail orientated and organized they will need to help with sourcing materials, following up with workshops, and researching and finding suppliers of textile and other materials
They will be moving to a new studio so they will be arranging and setting up and organizing the space. There will be a retail space in the new studio so the candidate will need to have a good idea of the products and materials to explain to customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain an inventory system to track materials and supplies, ensuring timely restocking

Assist in the development and implementation of organizational systems for the new studio

Support the creative team in preparing materials for client presentations or events

Monitor deadlines for projects and provide updates to the creative director

Help maintain a clean, safe, and productive studio environment

Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring materials are handled efficiently

Provide administrative support, such as filing invoices, managing schedules, and responding to client inquiries
Requirements

Familiarity with textiles, fabrics, or design-related materials

Experience in a creative, retail, or production environment

Ability to problem-solve and adapt to shifting priorities

A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator or Photoshop)

Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Experience working with Indian suppliers or in textile production
