Sub-Assembly Pans, Technician I, 1st Shift
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Sub-Assembly Pans, Technician I, 1st Shift.
The rate for this position is $18.11 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Thrusday from 5:00 am until 3:00 pm.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.

What you’ll do:
As an Assembly Technician, you will create or place name plates in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.
- Work to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instruction from supervisor or engineering and to established procedures in order to create correct name plates for units.
- Fill out productivity and 5S sheets daily.
- Maintain minimum levels of Kanban inventory and report shortages, defects, and updates to appropriate operators and supervisors.
- Respond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.
- Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.

Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.

- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- At least 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
- South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent
Position Criteria
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime in support of business needs.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, step ladder and crane to assemble and verify quality in a Lean environment.
- Must be able to use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook/Teams and job specific programs such as ENOVIA.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands for handling and material manipulation.
- Frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, and pull.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 50 lbs. or more.
- May be required to operate material‑handling equipment, including powered industrial vehicles. Must meet vision requirements, including near and far vision, depth perception, and color discrimination.
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to noise and frequent exposure to dust in a manufacturing environment.
