You will be the Subcontract Management for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high‑quality products to our customers, coordinating across engineering, logistics, finance, and external partners to make every piece of the puzzle fit together.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Subcontract Management you will be responsible for overseeing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance, and driving seamless integration across functions.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Manage subcontractor relationships and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and finance to align deliverables and schedules.

  • Monitor performance metrics and enforce compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with external partners.

  • Facilitate issue resolution and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Procurement experience
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of application
  • Communication and problem solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally
  • ability to obtain a secret clearance

Desired Skills:


  • Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment
  • Experience with a Variety of Subcontract Contract Types
  • Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Policies and Procedures
  • Experience with FARs and DFARs
  • Experience with LM Procure to Pay (P2P), SC Navigator and SAP
  • Leadership Skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Business acumen, attention to contractual detail, and ability to make business-based decisions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions
  • Experience in negotiating favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
