Job Title: Subject Matter Expert – Reliability Engineering (RAM Analysis · FMEA · Bad Actor Management · Programme KPI Governance)
Location: Abu Dhabi
Employment Type: Full Time
Programme Context
AVEVA delivers Predictive Analytics, Asset Performance Management, and Process Optimisation solutions across Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial operators throughout the Middle East region. These digital solutions monitor critical equipment and operational processes in real time, generating predictive alerts and operational advisories designed to prevent unplanned downtime, extend asset life, improve reliability, and optimize operational performance.
This SME role exists to ensure predictive model outputs are technically interpreted, validated, operationalized, and sustained — converting AI-generated insights into measurable operational, reliability, and financial benefits across customer facilities.
The Job
The Reliability Engineering SME will serve as the technical lead supporting deployment, operational monitoring, sustainment, governance, and continuous value realization of AVEVA Predictive Analytics and Asset Performance solutions deployed across customer operations in the Middle East region.
The role combines deep reliability engineering expertise with predictive maintenance, asset performance management, and operational governance capabilities to ensure deployed predictive solutions deliver sustained reliability improvements, maintenance optimization, operational efficiency, and measurable business value.
The SME will act as the integrator across multiple engineering disciplines — including rotating, static, electrical, process, and integrity domains — ensuring predictive insights translate into effective operational actions, reliability improvements, and quantified programme outcomes.
The role is responsible for establishing and governing the reliability and value realization framework for deployed predictive solutions, ensuring operational adoption, KPI tracking, continuous improvement, and long-term sustainment across customer facilities.
