Position Overview
The SME–ECE will design developmentally appropriate, engaging, and research-backed teaching–learning materials (TLMs) for Early Childhood classrooms (Nursery, PP1, PP2). The role requires a strong understanding of child development, play-based learning, structured literacy foundations, numeracy readiness, and multi-sensory pedagogy. Freshers with passion and strong foundational knowledge may also apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum-Aligned Content Development
- Develop activity sheets, workbooks, stories, rhymes, classroom centre activities, and integrated theme-based materials.
- Align all content with NCF 2023 – Foundational Stage, NEP 2020, and school-specific learning outcomes.
2. Pedagogical & Developmental Design
- Design activities that support cognitive, language, socio-emotional, physical, and creative development.
- Integrate play-based, exploration-driven, and hands-on methodologies.
- Build strong foundations in phonological awareness, oracy, pre-literacy, and pre-numeracy skills.
3. Scaffolding & Child-Centric Approach
- Add clear scaffolding: teacher prompts, guided practice, and independent tasks.
- Create engaging resources that foster curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.
4. Quality Checks & Review
- Review content for developmental appropriateness, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Revise materials based on feedback from academic reviewers and trainers.
- Ensure visuals and layouts are child-friendly and supportive of learning.
5. Collaboration
- Work with designers, editors, academic leads, and trainers.
- Participate in pilot classroom observations and refine content based on insights.
- Maintain consistency across themes, units, and grade levels.
6. Research & Innovation
- Stay updated with global ECE frameworks such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori, EYFS, HighScope, and Waldorf.
- Introduce innovative formats for learning centres, circle time, stories, rhymes, and sensory activities.
7. Project Management
- Follow timelines and deliver content on schedule.
- Maintain documentation, version control, and well-organized folders.
- Manage multiple grades, themes, or projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s/Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or B.Ed. (ECE specialization).
- Experience in ECE content creation or teaching preferred.
- Freshers with strong conceptual clarity, creativity, and passion for ECE are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
