About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Social Science Subject Matter Expert (SST SME) to develop, review, and enhance curriculum-aligned academic content. The role involves simplifying complex concepts and creating engaging, learner-centric materials for school students.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content for Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics)
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, MCQs, case studies, and detailed solutions
• Ensure content aligns with CBSE / ICSE / State Board / International curricula
• Review and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and plagiarism-free delivery
• Collaborate with curriculum designers, teachers, and product teams
• Adapt content for digital formats (videos, presentations, interactive modules)
• Incorporate academic feedback to improve content quality and learner outcomes

Subject Coverage

• History
• Geography
• Political Science (Civics)
• Economics

(Grades 6–12 preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Economics / Education
• Strong conceptual clarity of school-level SST curriculum
• Excellent written communication and content structuring skills
• Ability to explain topics in a simple, engaging, and student-friendly manner

Preferred Skills

• Experience as SME / Teacher / Content Developer / Academic Writer
• Familiarity with EdTech platforms and digital learning tools
• Understanding of Bloom’s Taxonomy and assessment design
• Strong time-management and deadline-oriented approach
