Role Overview

We are looking for a Submittal Engineer (ELV) with at least two years of experience in Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including fire alarm and fire fighting systems, to join our growing team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and submit technical documents, drawings, and material approvals for ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, etc.).

· Handle submittals related to fire alarm and fire fighting systems, ensuring compliance with Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) requirements.

· Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.

· Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical queries.

· Maintain accurate records of submittals, approvals, and revisions.

· Support project execution by providing technical documentation and clarifications.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or related field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in ELV systems and submittal preparation.

· Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, etc.).

· Background in fire alarm and fire fighting systems with proven project experience.

· Familiarity with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and QCD approval processes.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus.

· Transferable visa with valid QID is required.
