Substitute Childcare Staff

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Substitute Childcare Staff to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Child Care team in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and have a genuine interest in fostering children's development through engaging activities and effective classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Availability to Substitute for staff Monday -Friday we are open from 6am-6pm.
• Assist in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities that promote literacy education and childhood development.
• Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and guidance in various subjects.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Support the development of social skills through group activities and collaborative projects.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and classroom events.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements

• A background in early childhood education or related field is preferred.
• Experience with toddler care or working in daycare settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to educate young learners through engaging teaching methods and creative activities.
• Familiarity with literacy education strategies is a plus.
• A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and development.
