Whiz Kidz Preschool is seeking a flexible, experienced Traveling Substitute Teacher to support our six locations across the Valley. This role is perfect for a confident, adaptable early childhood professional who can jump in, bring calm, and keep classrooms running smoothly.

Some days you’ll be in a toddler room. Other weeks you may support Pre-K for several weeks at a time. Wherever you land — you bring stability, professionalism, and heart.

What You’ll Do

• Step into classrooms across all age groups (infants through Pre-K) as staffing needs arise.
• Support lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and daily routines.
• Maintain licensing compliance and safety standards at all times.
• Create a warm, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
• Adapt quickly to different teams, leadership styles, and classroom dynamics.
• Maintain professional communication with families and staff.
• Travel between our six locations as needed.

Assignments may range from a single day to several consecutive weeks depending on staffing needs.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a licensed childcare center – REQUIRED
• Experience working with all age groups (infants through preschool)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability — you’re comfortable stepping into new environments
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Current CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to meet all Arizona licensing requirements
