Substitute Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our childcare facility In a in home setting , providing seamless continuity of instruction and fostering a positive learning environment. Your energetic approach will inspire students, support classroom management, and ensure that learning never stops, even in the absence of regular teachers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Duties

• Deliver engaging lessons based on provided lesson plans, curriculum guidelines, and individual student needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners, including students with disabilities and those requiring special education support.
• Collaborate with director to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of instruction.
• Support students’ social-emotional development through mentoring and positive reinforcement.
• Assist with classroom activities such as literacy education, creative writing ,exercises.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate student progress to director.
• Implement behavior management techniques tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Prior classroom experience or background in early childhood education, childhood development, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning.
• Certificate:Edu-119 or CDA,Sids,CPR,First Aid.

Pay: $12.75 - $14.25 per hour
