Sugaring Esthetician

Position Overview

Sugared is seeking a professional, reliable, and client-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our team as a Sugaring Specialist. This role is centered around full body hair removal using the sugaring method, including Brazilian services.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, provides a high-quality client experience, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Technical skill is important, but personality, work ethic, and client care are equally valued. Training is available for the right candidate.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform professional sugaring services, including:
• Brazilian sugaring (female clients)
• Bikini & extended bikini
• Underarms
• Legs (full & half)
• Arms
• Back, chest, stomach, and facial sugaring
• Maintain proper sanitation and infection control procedures at all times
• Prepare treatment room between each client
• Conduct thorough client consultations and review contraindications
• Ensure client comfort, modesty, and safety during all services
• Educate clients on aftercare and home maintenance
• Recommend and retail appropriate home care products
• Rebook clients and help maintain retention
• Document client notes and service details accurately
• Maintain professional communication with clients (in person, phone, and booking software)

Required Qualifications

• Current State Esthetician License
• Ability and willingness to perform Brazilian sugaring
• Comfortable with full body hair removal services
• Strong hygiene and sanitation practices
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work a fast-paced schedule

Preferred (but not required)

• Previous sugaring or waxing experience
• Customer service or hospitality experience
• Retail sales experience
• Lash lift, brow, or facial service experience

Training in our techniques and service standards will be provided.

Daily Duties & Salon Responsibilities

• Opening or closing duties as scheduled
• Laundry (linens, towels, wraps)
• Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms and common areas
• Restocking supplies
• Maintaining product displays
• Supporting team members when needed

Work Environment

This is a busy treatment room position. The schedule can be physically and mentally demanding, especially during peak seasons. The ideal candidate is able to stay positive, organized, and professional even on fully booked days.
