Summer 2026 Full Stack Software Internship

About the Role

BNP Media is looking for a Full Stack Engineer Intern to join the team behind our IgniteDemand platform, a SaaS application used by marketing, analytics, and publishing teams across multiple BNP brands. You’ll work alongside senior engineers improving our React + Spring Boot application, AWS infrastructure, and Stripe-integrated subscription features.

This internship offers exposure to real production code and collaboration with a fast-moving engineering team that ships new features weekly.

What You’ll Do

Develop Across the Stack: Build and debug features across both frontend and backend, contributing to recent efforts such as:

• Multi-filter data downloads
• Subscription management and Stripe webhook integration
• Dynamic role-based access (VIEW_ONLY, FULL_ACCESS, ADMIN)
• Auto-complete and UI animation enhancements
• JSON type migration and schema validation
• Obfuscation logic for free-tier user data

Collaborate with Senior Engineers: Work with developers who recently implemented and pushed code to staging and prod such as:

• AWS WAF IP blocking and DNS automation via Route53
• Async task optimization and staging environment CI/CD
• Dynamic marketing-site deployment and SEO optimization

User Experience Enhancements: Enhancements to React components (filter groups, download modals, alert preferences) while improving system performance and front-end accessibility.

Contribute to Production Releases: Participate in code reviews, GitHub pull requests, and CI pipelines to ship features safely and consistently.

• Payments & Auth: Stripe API, JWT-based authentication
• Monitoring & Logs: CloudWatch, Datadog

Who You Are

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with at least one year of college completed
• Comfortable writing code in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java
• Familiar with Java, React, REST APIs, and SQL
• Interested in building scalable systems across front and back end
• Enjoy collaborating with design and data teams to improve UX and performance
• Curious about programming in general in JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Java, SaaS billing, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure
