Summer 2026 Internship: Content & Copywriting (On-Site, Burlington, VT)
About the Program
The New Breed Content & Copywriting Internship is a paid, full-time internship for early-career writers to gain hands-on experience in content creation, copywriting, and B2B marketing.
As a Content & Copywriting Intern, you'll support New Breed's internal marketing team by writing and editing content across a variety of formats. You'll learn how strong copy connects to broader campaign goals and measurable business outcomes. While you won't be publishing independently, you'll contribute to real content with close mentorship and editorial review at every step.
AI will be integrated throughout many projects, so curiosity and a willingness to explore how it can support content workflows are essential.
What You Will Do
- Draft and edit content including blog posts, email copy, website copy, and social media writing under the guidance of a senior team member, with review before publication
- Learn how content supports campaign goals by collaborating with demand generation and web strategy teams
- Assist with SEO-informed content projects by applying basic keyword research and best practices under guidance
- Experiment with AI tools to support content ideation and writing workflows, with oversight from your team
- Participate in regular check-ins to build skills and receive structured feedback

Requirements
- Recent graduate, upcoming graduate, or co-op student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Foundation in writing – Journalism, Communications, English, or Marketing concentrations are a strong fit
- We will request writing samples if you advance in our interview process
- Clear, adaptable writer comfortable taking editorial direction and iterating on feedback
- Curious about how content supports marketing strategy and eager to learn in a B2B environment
- Curious about AI and open to experimenting with how it can support your writing process
- Organized, collaborative, and responsive to feedback
- Able to commit to full-time, in-person hours in Burlington, VT, with reliable housing and transportation

Work Environment
This is an in-office program based in Burlington, VT, at our Hula Lakeside campus. Local housing and reliable daily transportation are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., from May through August.
