Summer Associate - ABCLC Reading Program

Member Duties : The summer associates will break the cycle of poverty by supporting ABCLC in its effort to improve literacy. They will provide summer tutoring and an Integrated Reading Curriculum to low-income children. The summer associates will provide instruction to the students daily, engaging them in various reading and STEM activities. They will participate in field trips with students and guide participation in a social action project. The summer associates will be responsible for developing lesson plans and working with students in a classroom setting with a 1-to-10 ratio, helping to prevent summer learning loss. In addition to the duties stated above, the summer associates will gather attendance data collected during the summer and report to the sponsor organization.
