While Delaware’s public libraries provide the hardware and high-speed internet, many patron's still face a "skills gap" that prevents them from safely and effectively using these resources. That is where you can help! Patrons requesting assistance with employment, insurance, housing and more often lack the digital literacy skills to use the available tools to meet their needs. Summer Associates will provide hands-on implementation assistance that will give them the basic skills and confidence. Libraries have an amazing amount of free online software for patrons to learn computer skills including Grow with Google licenses and more but the basic skills and confidence really need people like you to help them! Onboarding, support, and ongoing training will be a strong component of this opportunity. Looking for 10 tech savvy individuals statewide. Opportunity begins June 15 and ends August 23. Full time at public libraries
