Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in a variety of camp activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times
• Manage group behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement
• Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or safety concerns
• Foster a welcoming environment rooted in respect, kindness.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors on daily schedules, set up activities, and maintain a positive camp atmosphere

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, tutoring, or summer camps is highly desirable
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles
• Background in teaching, special education, or early childhood education is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively in group settings and handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism
• Experience in sports coaching, theater arts, or childcare enhances your ability to lead diverse activities with confidence
• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth through engaging educational and recreational experiences

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
