Summer Camp Counselor

We are seeking energetic, responsible and positive individuals to join our team as a Camp Counselor at the Stoke Factory Summer Camp! Counselors will supervise and engage with children ages 6-14 in a fun, high energy outdoor environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with kids, leading activities, and are not afraid to get into the water and have fun! Our camp includes, wakeboarding, aqua park, swimming, scootering, outdoor games and so much more!

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
• Plan, organize, and lead recreational outdoor activities (games, relays, treasure hunts, swimming, aqua park etc.)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all campers
• Enforce camp rules and promote respectful behavior
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, transitions, and attendance tracking
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, conflicts, or behavioral issues
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of camp areas

Qualifications

• Age 18+
• Previous experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.)
• Ability to supervise groups of children in a safe and responsible manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends)
• Ability to work outdoors and stay active for extended periods

Schedule:

This is a seasonal position Starting June 1 - August 8, with mandatory orientation May 26-28.

Hours Range - 7:30 AM- 6:30 PM
