Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Design

• Thoroughly research trends and competitors, staying up to date on trends within the premium denim space.

• Constantly assess and reassess sample specs.

• Track and inventory samples.

• Assist the designer(s) in daily organizational tasks such as samples, merchandising tech packs and control sheets.

• Prepare tech packs and assist in communication with production team on fine tuning products.

• Monitor, manage & handle all outgoing and incoming design related mail/packages.

Showroom

• Support the functions of the showroom team.

• Maintain showroom and sample closet appearance (neat, clean, and organized).

• Independently complete regular inventory of samples in line with sales needs.

• Complete sample pull requests and ship as needed.

• Coordinate with sales team to prioritize showroom, market, specialty, and major sample needs.

• Help pack and unpack for road appointments, trade shows and market.

• Assist with sample sales and any company-wide events.

• Process RA’s, exercising discretion and best judgement.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• Previous Internship experience in fashion is a plus.

• Previous showroom internship experience is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of Excel

• Detail-oriented and strong communicator.

• Ability to take initiative and ownership of work.

Warp + Weft offers a paid internship experience at $17.0 an hour.
