The Random House Children’s Books art team is seeking a highly motivated, skilled individual with a desire to learn and contribute to the children’s book team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Production Design Assistant will assist the Art Director in the execution of all phases of backlist management, from reprints to backlist reissues, repackages and special projects. The position will expose the assistant to all phases of file preparation, layout adjustments, and text corrections, with an emphasis on color correction and digital pre-press file creation for all formats including picture books, novels, novelty books, chapter books, and activity books.
The salary for this position is $51,000.00. All positions are currently eligible for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.
